Moses said to them. "Take heart all the words that I am giving in witness against you today. this is no trifling matter for you, but rather your very life." Deuteronomy 32:46-47
 
It is the spirit that gives life; the flesh is useless. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. John 6:63
 
How fortunate we are to be able to have faith through the Holy Spirit who dwells in each believer to reveal the divine love of God through Jesus. 
 
As he hymn writer, Timothy Reeves, stated in his hymn text, "Holy Spirit, Ever Dwelling:"
Holy Spirit ever swelling in the holiest realms of light;
Holy Spirit, ever brooding o'er a world of gloom and night;
Holy Spirit, ever raising those of earth to thrones on high;
living, life imparting Spirit, you we praise and magnify.
 
Having faith, although we have not seen the Lord. Having faith, what a gift the Holy 
Spirit imparts to give each of us the ability to believe.
 
Dear Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
Thank you for the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Thank you that the Holy Spirit pervades in our hearts despite all that can direct our beliefs away from God. We rest in your never-failing grace. Sweep through every moment of our lives to renew our faith. Amen.
