In order to connect with our community; support our neighborhood’s children, teachers, and family; and to show Christ in our community; we as a ministry have adopted a nearby school to support in any way we can: with volunteers, finances, prayer, and kindness.
Call of the Ministry Team: As parents and community members we have seen firsthand what struggles many students are going through. Many of us have volunteered in schools, in and out of Bloomington, and have realized how fulfilling it is for the volunteer. Additionally, teachers talk about how having volunteers in the classroom have made positive effects on students and teaching.
Team Commitments: Team members commit to promoting this ministry in and out of the church building, gathering regularly as a team for planning and support, and praying for the students, their families, teachers, and staff.
