I grew up a few blocks from Christ the King and have warm memories of learning and worshipping here with my family. After high school I went away to college, continued to grow in a variety of places and spaces with many new faces, settled in Burnsville and after a long career in the corporate world, I began working part-time in the church office in 2005. There are many things involved in the life of the church and now, sitting in a different pew so to speak, my appreciation for mission and ministry at CTK has deepened. What a joy it is to be part of and work alongside this community! In my second life at Christ the King, I’ve brought along my husband Doug and our young nephews, Oliver and Eli, and our niece, Leila. It is a gift to share this space and this faith with them and with you.
