Fall in love with the movies!

Come enjoy a matinee with Pastor Per! We’ll meet in the lounge at noon every Thursday in October to watch a movie together and then talk about it! Bring something for lunch and we’ll provide the popcorn and lemonade! 

October 3^rd The Cider House Rules (1999, PG-13)

A beautiful and heart wrenching adaptation of John Irving’s 1985 novel, starring Tobey Maguire, Charlize Theron, and Michael Caine. 

October 10^th  West Side Story (2021, PG-13)

From Steven Spielberg and Tony Kushner, a fresh take on the beloved musical, featuring all your favorite Bernstein and Sondheim tunes. (For a little bit of fun, watch the original 1961 film to compare and contrast!)

 October 17^th Inside Out (2015, PG)

This funny and moving hit from Disney’s Pixar Animation Studios explores the inner workings of a young girl as she adjusts to her family’s recent move.

October 24^th  Lars and the Real Girl (2007, PG-13)

A quirky story about an awkward man’s quest to find love and connection, starring Ryan Gosling, Emily Mortimer, and Patricia Clarkson.

October 31^st Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948, not rated)
