Cleopatra is dead. Rome and Parthia struggle for control of the Fertile Crescent in a bid for world domination, while local politics in the Middle Kingdoms become increasingly divisive. The prophecies of the so-called “Messiah” are growingly misunderstood and derided, and an ancient Evil lurks in the shadows, corrupting the hearts of humankind. Three of the wisest mystics known as the “Magi” travelled to Bethlehem following a star they believed to be a sign. They never returned. Hope grows dim as the world descends into darkness. What we need are answers... and those brave enough to seek them.
Our Dungeons & Dragons youth group experience continues this fall! We will take our imaginations into the time of the Bible for a unique adventure experience that brings the fun and spontaneity of D&D into the narrative of Biblical storytelling.
So if you're a middle or high school student looking to make friends and sharpen your spirit and your imagination, join us and be an Adventurer of the Bible!
Adventurers of the Bible will meet every other Wednesday for 5 sessions this fall starting September 28th from 7-9pm at Christ the King Lutheran Church. All necessary supplies will be provided, though players are welcome to bring their own as well.
New players welcome! Players need not have played Dungeons & Dragons previously or be familiar with the rules prior to signing up.
