Family Play Space at Christ the King - 2024

RSVP to save your family’s spot for one or more of the family play space events at Christ the King Lutheran Church this season! In order to make sure the play space is fun for everyone, the space is limited to about 15 families at a time

2023-2024 Play Space Schedule and Details: 

When: First Saturday of the month November - April 2024 

  • 8:00am - 12:00pm (come for all or part of the time)
  • Apr. 6, 2024

 

Where: Christ the King Lutheran Church (CTK) - 8600 Fremont Ave S, Bloomington MN 55420

  • West Chapel
  • Enter through door 6 - Southwest side of building

 

Who: Families with young children

  • Ideal for children ages 6 months through about 6 years old, but younger and older children are welcome
  • Parents and guardians are expected to stay, play, and supervise their children
  • All are welcome - no need to attend worship or other activities at CTK

 

What to expect: Open play area with a bounce house, baby/young toddler area, toddler ride-on and push toys, balls, small basketball hoops, hula hoops, bounce buddies, scooter boards, and more.

  • Bring socks for the bounce house and dry shoes to change out of wet winter boots when you arrive.
  • Enter through Door 6 - Southwest side of the building
  • Admission is free with a suggested donation of $3 per child or $10 per family (cash or give online).
  • Healthy snacks, coffee, and tea will be available for purchase (cash or give online).
  • Non-messy snacks and water from home are welcome in the snack area, but please do not bring anything with peanuts or tree nuts.
  • All families will be asked to sign a liability waiver when they arrive.
  • Please do not come if you are feeling ill or have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days.
  • The rest of the church will be closed during family play time.
  • Please do not bring toys from home.
