Somatic Restorative Yoga
Somatic Restorative Yoga combines somatic movement designed to release and retrain the nervous and muscular systems for a deepened stretch in restorative yoga poses. This allows the body and mind to unwind and relax fully. Many of us carry patterns of tension in both body and mind that deplete our energy and make true rest and resilience feel out of reach. By learning to calm the nervous system, adding gentle movement, guided breath, and meditation practices to support the immune and lymphatic systems, the body can release tension and settle in for deep relaxation. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to slow down and reconnect with yourself.
Liana Dang
In 2011, I first found yoga as a way to manage stress. Yoga has helped transform the way I breathe, move, think, and navigate life's ever-changing flow. Yoga helps support each layer of our physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and impactful selves to heal, grow, and thrive together in community. As a lifelong learner, sharing yoga became a core part of my mission. I received my 200-RYT from Green Lotus Healing Center in 2017, then continued my yoga study in Yoga North’s 500-RYT SomaYoga level 1 therapy program in 2020. Outside of yoga, I feel most at home in nature - whether I am foraging in the woods, hiking, or spending time outdoors with family.
We would love to have you join us!
